What Causes A Loving Relationship To End

Why couples breakup? Well, relationships can be tricky. They are amazing when all is going well. But, when you're on a rocky road, they can be painful. A loving relationship or marriage doesn't end overnight. It tends to break off after years of disregard and heedlessness on the part of couple.

Loving relationships often end up because of following main reasons.

Lack of Compatibility
One of the many reasons why people cut somebody close out of their lives is lack of compatibility. The truth is no two people are exact match by nature. As long as you're respecting your partner's individuality and willing to compromise, you can enjoy a long-lasting relationship. However, big issues can appear when you both are not on the same page anymore or when you refuse to comprise. For instance, if you like going out and hanging out with people, or enjoy hiking in the weekends, it's going to be near impossible to have a bond with someone who prefer to sit on the couch and watch TV all night. Maybe you have crossed 1-2 year mark, but it can lead to power struggle in a relationship because after that the stuff gets real. And, you are not always charmed by your partner's habits.

Communication Issues
Silence is the biggest biohazard to your relationship. But, what if your communication style is ruining rather than building your relationship? Studies have shown that communication issues are amongst the top reasons for break-ups. Having an awareness of different communication styles can help you get more out of it than you think. Through right style, you can get into your partner's wavelength as quickly as possible. But if you fail to do so, it can be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

Less Intimacy
Healthy relationships are supposed to be joyous, fulfilled and intimate. When we talk about intimacy, it includes both physical and emotional openness and closeness. Even, small gestures like smile coming from your partner could act as a stress-buster for you. And in its absence, symptoms may develop like depression, and aggression, which is harmful to relationships and individuals.

Having Contempt for Your Partner
When there's contempt in a relationship, it's a sign that you're going down the wrong path. So ask yourself, do you respect your partner? Do you appreciate their accomplishments? Do you believe he or she is a good person? For a lasting relationship, you need to heal that feeling of contempt for your significant other. Understand your partner. Build empathy for your other half. Try to diminish your negative feelings as holding onto contempt will only destroy your relationship.

Lying and Trust Issues
Trust is one of the crucial elements that strengthen a loving relationship. Lying and staying dishonest with your partner is a recipe for disaster. Similarly, secrets are no fun, even worse than lying in a long-term relationship.

Refusal to Accept Any Blame
There are many who don't realize that criticism and blame are major relationship destroyers. Any one from both of the parties has to take responsibility and blame for what has transpired. Or else, it could be a deal breaker.

Unfortunately, it's easier to fall in love with someone than staying in the same emotion. Give relationship the value it deserves and put it out of its distress.
